How can you get fair skin?
Sometimes, having fair skin can seem like a dream that will never come true. The problem with pimples and blemishes is that there are so many factors that can cause them, and sometimes no matter what you do, pimples will appear. But don’t worry, it’s not all doom and gloom! Luckily, I’ve taken a closer look at how to get clear skin, and with a little bit of perseverance and time, you’ll see a world of difference in the overall appearance of your complexion.
How can you get clear skin fast?
There are a lot of different ways to get clear skin fast, but before I start sharing with you the best skin care tips I’ve found, it’s important to understand that clear skin isn’t a quick fix. Depending on the severity of your breakout, you may experience inflammation, redness, or uneven skin tone, and it may take longer to fully heal. However, don’t let that discourage you because once your skin finds balance and gets used to all the changes you’ve made, it will be much easier to manage.
Now, I’m going to share with you the steps and changes you can make to your daily routine to get clear skin quickly and effectively. You definitely don’t have to do all of the steps above, but you can do the ones that work best for your lifestyle and skin type.
Cleanse your skin, but don’t wash it too often!
The urge to wash your face to a squeaky clean can often be overwhelming, especially when you’re suffering from a particularly annoying rash. However, it’s very important not to wash your skin too often because your skin actually needs some oil to stay balanced (yes, even for people with oily skin types). When you deprive your skin of the important sebum that it needs to feel good and function properly, you subconsciously send stress signals to your sebaceous glands, triggering excessive oil production, leading to, you guessed it, more spots and blemishes! An easy way to remember this is to make sure your skin feels clean, not squeaky clean!
Try a salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide cleanser
Both ingredients are effective at fighting impurities because they penetrate deeper into the dermis of the skin, deep inside the pores. They remove sebum, bacteria, dirt, and other impurities, leaving you with clear, healthy-looking skin. Another useful point to note is that you can use both ingredients in your daily routine, making sure of course that your skin likes doing so and that it doesn’t become too dry and uncomfortable. There’s a whole blog post dedicated to which you should use first: salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Admittedly, both of these may sound scary, but when used correctly, they can work wonders for your skin.
Don’t Forget Exfoliation
Whether you choose a physical exfoliator or a chemical peel, both are ideal for removing the dead skin cell buildup that often causes skin to look dull and have lots of active pimples and blackheads. Popular AHAs are effective at revealing fresh skin cells and giving it a glow. Glycolic and lactic acids are most commonly used in formulas due to their skin-rejuvenating properties and low skin irritation for normal and combination skin types.
Wash Then Exfoliate
Do you shower with your clothes on? Exfoliating your skin after putting on makeup is the same. The product is simply applied to the skin and then penetrates deep into the pores, clogging them, which in turn can lead to a variety of issues.
Don’t Skip Moisturizer
Often, the desire for clear skin comes with the assumption that moisturizer is out of the question, and this step is sometimes skipped entirely. The primary role of a moisturizer is not only to hydrate and nourish the skin, but also to form a protective barrier on the skin that prevents environmental factors from affecting other products and ingredients you use in your daily life.
Wash your makeup brushes
If you find that you get rashes in the same place, such as if you get them on your cheeks, then dirty makeup brushes could be one of the culprits! If you don’t wash your makeup brushes, bacteria will accumulate and the dirt from the brushes will be transferred to the skin in a sticky, unclean cycle and back.
Seek advice from a dermatologist
If you feel that no matter what you try, it’s time to seek advice from a dermatologist.
I hope that the products you introduce into your daily life are good for your skin and make it clearer.
How can you get clear skin overnight?
As I mentioned before, there is no quick way to get clear skin, it takes some time and persistence. However, there are some things you can do to make active pimples look and feel less severe and prevent them from changing color. To avoid new outbreaks.
Make sure your pillowcase is clean – just like dirty brushes, this can also lead to your face lying on a pillow full of bacteria. If you find that your skin is very oily and problematic, change your pillowcase 3 times a week.
Use a cream with benzoyl peroxide – this ingredient fights acne-causing bacteria, Propionibacterium acnes. By applying it topically to pimples, a more effective, targeted treatment can be achieved.
Keep your hair away from your face – keep it away from your skin, especially when you need to wash it, to prevent oil from transferring to your skin.
Use a probiotic-rich overnight mask to soothe redness and inflammation on your skin, making it less noticeable.
Get enough sleep – To have clear skin, you need enough sleep. Your skin regenerates when you sleep, so the recommended 8 hours of sleep will have a noticeable effect on your skin.
Drink enough water – it’s incredible what water can do for your skin. If you drink 3 liters of water a day, your skin’s clarity will be completely transformed.
