Be the first to buy these 7 fragrances that are about to go viral on TikTok

7 February 2025

Be the first to buy these 7 fragrances that are about to go viral on TikTokIf you take TikTok as an example, everyone is a trailblazer. Slides are this season’s coolest footwear trend, and hooded dresses are taking over. But

when it comes to what to wear, nothing goes viral like perfume.

Take Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Baccarat Rouge, for example. It’s been viewed a whopping 285.6 million times, and it’s so intoxicating that one influencer said smelling it was like an out-of-body experience. And then there’s

Phlur’s “Missing Person,” which is said to be a song that will make you cry (in a good way).

Good to know. Being chased down the street by someone who just wants to know what perfume you wore this morning is personally affirming for me. But going viral often results in global sellouts, which is no fun.

If you’re on the hunt for a new fragrance that’ll turn heads and make you a true trendsetter, let our beauty editor friends at Refinery29 point you in the right direction. These shiny new scents are so good that sooner or later

everyone will be talking about them. Get them while you still can.

Tom Ford Cherry Smoke 50ml, £265

“To me, cherries are both nostalgic and lush. If you grew up with a Baby All Gone doll, you will no doubt remember the jar of “little cherries” that accompanied her. When you put the magnetic spoon to your mouth They disappear

from the magnetic spoon with a satisfying click, only to magically reappear when you dip the spoon back into the glass. But her smell – sweet Teeth aching, yet completely at peace—it’s always stuck in my mind.

Thirty years later, I primarily associate cherries (especially luscious cherries) with the most decadent of cocktails. You know her. Soak them in a glass of brandy and plenty of syrup.

Tom Ford’s Cherry Smoke initially evokes nostalgia, but the faux cherry spray dries down into something warm and all-encompassing thanks to slightly burnt elements (i.e. smoky woody notes balanced with leather).

This fragrance is very expensive but it has been stuck to my coat since I bought it in Selfridges a few days ago. It’s a lot less smoky now, sweeter and more floral. This is definitely an adult cherry scent that lingers

beautifully on clothes. If you want something very similar that lasts better on your skin, it’s Kayali’s Lovefest Burning Cherry.

Dior True Me Eau de Parfum, 30ml, £63.

“First, let’s talk about the bottle: It’s big, gorgeous, matte white, and has thin golden spirals from top to bottom, so you know it’s Dior. Even though it’s luxurious (and I should point out, it’s a fragrance that costs £63),

but I find myself reaching for it. This happens often, even in the morning, when I’ve just been working on the kitchen island and want to smell fresh without risking a headache or my The oatmeal tastes good.

Because it’s a water-based fragrance rather than an alcohol-based one, this one is one of the lightest, airiest fragrances I own, which is perfect for layering on top of perfume, which is fun! There are flowers inside, but they

are not obvious. Instead, it’s like a bouquet of flowers placed on a farmhouse-style table. It adds something beautiful but you barely notice it.

Boy Smells Hinoki Fantôme Eau de Parfum 65ml, £105

“#PerfumeTok has fallen in love with this chic brand from fashion veterans Matthew Herman and David Kien (whose candles are regularly posted and praised on the app). The fragrance is an updated version of her best-selling candle

of the same name, paired with Baccarat Like Rouge, it has a luxurious feel due to its woody and amber notes.

Hinoki Fantôme blends warm Japanese cypress wood with smoked leather. This special wood is said to induce relaxation, meditation, and calming clarity. I predict it will take off online and in person this month and beyond. I saw

someone in a TikTok video comparing it to a “hipster speakeasy in New York City,” perhaps thanks to the smoke of tobacco leaves, spices, and patchouli.

The price of this fragrance puts it in the premium fragrance category, and while I think it deserves the hype and price, having a small group of trendy, cool brands reflects the aspirational side of many #GRWM videos. The pink

and black glass bottles are also boujee.

Phlur Tangerine Boy Eau de Parfum 50ml, £96

“If you’re not on the Phlur train yet, get on it. These scents really live up to the TikTok hype. Most recently, the brand launched Tangerine Boy, which I’m not sure how that’s possible, but it fits my ideal scent profile.

I’m a big fan of citrus scents, but I usually only wear these orange tones in spring and summer. However, that could soon change thanks to a new launch from the brand. It’s warm and citrusy—the brand describes it as a “citrus

spice.” Think: clean and refreshing, but with a warmth you wouldn’t expect. You won’t typically find it mixed with lemon or ginger.

There are aromas of black pepper, amber and moss, as well as notes of apple, citrus and jasmine petals. The citrus top note is lemon, but there’s nothing sour about this scent. Like other Phlur scents, it brings back childhood

memories, like a scent my mother might have worn. I will definitely be adding this to my winter rotation. Heck, it might just become my new favorite all year long.

Prada Paradoxe Eau de Parfum 30ml, £59

“The scents I love are ones that are sweet but not too overpowering. I know I’ve found ‘the one’ when the smell is addictive and I reach for it most of the time. This It’s my perfume.” People’s love for Prada’s paradox arises

spontaneously.

The floral amber scent lasts all day long, perfect for when you have plans after get off work but don’t have time to freshen up. There’s already some discussion on TikTok about this scent, and I think that discussion will only

increase in the coming months (and even more so as spring approaches). It suggests a sweet and sensual scent thanks to notes of bergamot, pear, jasmine and vanilla. Plus, the bottle with Prada’s signature triangular logo (on the

side) is even more iconic. This aesthetic aligns perfectly with TikTok’s hottest trends like Barbiecore. “

Diptyque Do Son Eau de Parfum 75ml, £140

“Diptyque isn’t a hard-selling fragrance brand, is it? For most people, just mentioning its name will pique your interest, and that’s ultimately because of the brand’s reputation for creating addictive and sensational scents And

no mistakes were made.

Their latest limited edition Eau do Son is no exception. Named after one of Diptyque’s founders’ childhood summers spent on the coast of Vietnam, it perfectly captures tropical sea breezes, thanks to a heady blend of tuberose,

amber and jasmine, but most importantly, it doesn’t It can feel overwhelming. That’s thanks to what can only be described as freshly squeezed oranges. I highly doubt you could try it without getting addicted.

Narciso Rodriguez MUSC NOIR Rose Eau de Parfum 50ml, £55

“Definitely, yes, TikTok has influenced me here, and in a big way. Who wouldn’t want to emulate a chic French woman wearing a big, fluffy coat for a nighttime walk? I never really wanted to be Part of “French Girl Beauty”, but

this musky perfume was my New Year’s Eve scent and hasn’t really left my body since. With notes of bergamot, tuberose and vanilla, it’s not traditional A rose in the sense – and that’s exactly why I love it. I always stop by

now and I love that it comes in a pink bottle and is huge (if you buy the 100ml). Travel friendly, not so much. But who needs a wallet when you smell so good?”

DQH Can I use salicylic acid first and then vitamin C? It’s easy to create a skincare routine, but knowing how to use it is another thing entirely. In most cases, if you’re not getting the desired skin results, it could be due to the layering of conflicting ingredients. So, is it possible that salicylic acid and vitamin C are such ingredients? Or are these active ingredients the duo that’s been missing from your skincare routine? If you want answers, stick around because today we are going to explain the benefits of salicylic acid and vitamin C and how they can be used in your daily life. What are the benefits of salicylic acid for skin? Salicylic acid is one of the most commonly used beta hydroxy acids and is favored by many people with oily, acne-prone skin. This acid is derived from willow bark, and unlike its water-soluble relatives (called alpha-hydroxy acids), salicylic acid is oil-soluble, which means it can penetrate deeper into the lower layers of the skin. Once it reaches the lower layers, it can help unclog pores of excess sebum, dirt, bacteria, debris, and impurities. This results in clearer skin tones and greater definition. Not only does salicylic acid benefit the underlying layers, but the outer surface of the skin benefits as well. When applied to the skin, salicylic acid removes the buildup of dead skin cells. This is accomplished by breaking the bonds that hold dead cells to the surface. Over time, this can cause the complexion to look dull and prone to acne, blackheads, and other blemishes. If you’d like to learn more about salicylic acid and how it can improve your skin, check out this dedicated blog post from a beauty insider. What are the benefits of vitamin C for skin? Vitamin C is considered one of the most powerful antioxidants, which means it is very effective at fighting free radicals and preventing them from causing further skin damage. Examples of free radicals include pollution, central heating, UV rays and harsh climate. They attack proteins, fats and cell membranes as soon as they come into contact with the skin, causing signs of premature aging such as fine lines and wrinkles as well as hyperpigmentation, flaky patches of skin and loss of elasticity. Many people usually prefer to use vitamin C in their morning routine as this ingredient gives the complexion a radiant glow. You’ll also find that vitamin C can target areas of hyperpigmentation, plumping the skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The thing about vitamin C is that there are a lot of outdated studies going back to the 1950s that describe vitamin C as an unstable skin component. Thanks to improvements in modern technology, this is no longer the case as all products now contain a stable form of vitamin C. Visit The Beauty Insider to learn more about vitamin C. So please check out our blog post. Can I use salicylic acid first and then vitamin C? Yes, you absolutely can. In fact, it’s thought that using salicylic acid before using vitamin C ensures it penetrates faster and works faster. This is an efficient way to utilize two power sources, and the reason has to do with pH. For example, the skin’s natural pH is about 4.7, making it slightly acidic. Salicylic acid and vitamin C are also both acidic, and you’ll find that vitamin C is absorbed quickly into the skin. Therefore, using salicylic acid beforehand can increase the acidity of the skin and allow vitamin C to penetrate into the skin faster. While this is considered an effective way to combine two powerful ingredients, you need to be aware of your skin type and how it reacts to certain active ingredients. Even people with perfect, normal skin can experience skin sensitivity and irritation. Therefore, always consult a doctor or dermatologist before using any new products on your skin. It’s also important to follow skin application rules. In this case, you need to use the product correctly to ensure you get the best results for your skin. If you’re not sure what I mean, the basic rule for skin is to start with the thinnest consistency and work your way up to the thickest consistency. This prevents a barrier from forming on the surface, preventing other active ingredients from penetrating the skin. Can I use salicylic acid at night and vitamin C in the morning? Yes, absolutely, this is considered the most effective way to get returns without any adverse side effects. This is because there is enough time between applications to ensure that the skin’s pH levels return to balance. You’ll also find that Vitamin C is rich in antioxidants and is perfect for use in the morning to ensure your skin is protected and looking its healthiest. Due to the small size of salicylic acid molecules, it is an acid that is able to reach the deepest parts of the skin. While this is effective at keeping skin clear, it also increases the risk of irritation and photosensitivity. Therefore, many people prefer to use powerful BHAs in their evening routine without exposure to UV rays, pollution, or harsh weather. Warning: If you avoid using sunscreen every day, none of these ingredients will do what your skin needs. The combination of chemical peels and powerful ingredients increases the risk of further damage to the skin’s surface. Use SPF 50 every day to keep your skin protected and your lipid barrier healthy, even on cloudy days, keeping your skin in top condition.
